The 8th LATE SRI BRIJ BHUSHAN LAL JI MEMORIAL, 28TH Junior U.P. State Championships ‘U.P.CUP’ (Promoted by ‘STAG’ International, Meerut) will be held from 26TH TO 28TH  July, 2013 at B.B.L. Public School, Alakhnath Road, Bareilly, under the auspices of Bareilly District Table Tennis Association. Entries may be sent  directly to  Sri N.K. You are reminded to forward the eligibility form (In duplicate TTFI/UPTTA) alongwith date of birth certificate & one more proof of date of birth (either passport copy/Nagar Nigam Certificate or Hospital Certificate) of the players, so as to reach UPTTA before 15th July, 2013. If the forms are not submitted within this time, we will not accept the entry of your Association for U.P. CUP. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT ENTRY FEES.

As per the rules of the Junior State Championships each of the affiliated units may send entries of their district comprising 2 players each in the Junior, Sub Junior and Cadet Boys and Girls and One Coach Cum Manager and they will be provided with free hospitality. Additional entries will be entertained but they will be charged Rs. 500/- per player with free hospitality, along with entry fee of Rs. 1000/- per district. The entries should reach us not later than 15th July, 2013. The players from such district, where no district Association exists or have failed to enter his team, will also be eligible to participate in the tournament as additional entry.

The entries are liable to be rejected for want of age proof certificate. These certificates have to be furnished on the Format of TTFI (send earlier) of concerning School/College along with Board Mark sheet

and certificate duly signed by the Principal with seal and bearing scholar registration number. Over age players will be liable for disciplinary action in case their certificates are found to be not genuine. Those players who have passed High School, CBSC or ICSE must submit their mark sheet for verification of date of birth.

Further please ensure to follow the new age eligibility while sending the entries for the UP Cup/State Ranking/Inter District/State Championships and conduct your district championships accordingly :-

Junior Boys and Girls: The date of birth should be on or after 1.1.1996.
Sub Junior Boys and Girls: The date of birth should be on or after 1.1.1999.
Cadet Boys and Girls: The date of birth should be on or after 1.1.2002.

It has been noticed that the units do not send their entries on time and are late in arriving at the venue of the tournament which results in delay of the matches and re-draw of the fixtures etc. This practice is often being repeated in every tournament. It is therefore advised to all the units/players to submit their entries positively before the last date of the entries and a copy of which to be sent to the undersigned. The host/chief referee will entertain no last minute entry. The matches will commence from 11.00 A.M. 

Sharp. The Cadet and Sub Junior players will be eligible to play in the one higher category open events.  For example Cadet Players will automatically be allowed to play in the Sub Juniors, like wise Sub Juniors in juniors.

In its everlasting efforts to take Table Tennis to new height in the state, the UP Table Tennis Association has started to groom players from the grassroots level. With a view to identify talent at the right age and to popularize the game of Table Tennis in the State of Uttar Pradesh, the U.P. Table Tennis Association has decided to start Inter School State Table Tennis Championship from this year. This will be a regular activity of U.P.T.T.A and its constituents every year. It will be mandatory for the District Table Tennis units to organize Inter School Table Tennis Championship every year.
